About Us

The Women's Recovery Association exists to restore women of all ages and circumstances to a life of dignity and respect, free from the effects of substance abuse.

  • WRA is a community of recovering women, their families, alumni, staff and volunteers.
  • We treat everyone with compassion, caring, understanding, empathy, dignity, respect, and honesty.
  • We greatly value the confidentiality, safety and privacy of our women and their families.
  • WRA is receptive to using innovative approaches and emerging research to deliver quality treatment and services.
  • We believe it our responsibility to provide effective treatments for our women and are committed to active internal evaluation.

The Women's Recovery Association has 25 full-time and 20 part-time staff. The Program Director is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Our counselors are marriage and family therapists, interns, and/or certified or registered alcohol and drug counselors.
