Tracey’s Place of Hope (facility #415600238) is a strength and advocacy-based residential and continuing care treatment program designed to help adolescent girls build positive and productive lives free from the effects of substance abuse. The program provides gender-specific, developmentally appropriate treatment services for adolescent girls with co-occurring disorders. We encourage clients to create a life for themselves in which their addiction and mental health problems are no longer their sole self-definition. We support them in developing a sense of self that is strength-based and sustainable so they have the opportunity to emerge from treatment as young women with the community commitments and relationships that will allow them to maintain their sobriety and emotional stability.
History
Tracey’s Place of Hope was opened in 2000 in memory of Tracey Biletnikoff, daughter of Fred Biletnikoff, who was inducted as a member of NFL Hall of Fame, Class of 1988. Tracey was murdered in 1999 by her boyfriend after successfully graduating from the Women’s Recovery Association and beginning a new life as a young woman overcoming tremendous obstacles in her short life. WRA commemorated Tracey's life and her untimely death in opening Tracey’s Place of Hope with the support of the Biletnikoff family to enable young girls to overcome the problems related to substance abuse, mental health and gender violence.
Admissions
Involvement with Tracey’s Place of Hope can begin at any point in the process - from answering questions, to interviewing a potential client, meeting with families and community partners, or accepting a client for treatment. The more support we can provide throughout the process, the more invested everyone will be in the outcome.
