Outpatient Services
WRA understands and values the individual nature of each woman's recovery. With this in mind, we offer several options for outpatient programs, tailored to meet each woman's personal needs. Services included are treatment readiness, intensive outpatient (day or evening) and aftercare.
Day Treatment
Services include therapeutic counseling (group and individual), art therapy and education on chemical dependency, 12-step recovery, self-esteem, family dynamics, eating disorders, life skills, relapse prevention, domestic violence, vocational skills, parenting skills and education, health, exercise and nutrition, AIDS/HIV, coping with trauma, and more.
Intensive Day Treatment
Intensive Day Treatment includes all services provided in the Day Treatment program as well as several other support services, some of which are provided at the residential facilities. These may include meditation, living skills, self-management, acupuncture/relaxation techniques and additional community meetings such as the "gratefuls" group, and alumnae meetings.
Individual Counseling/Psychotherapy Services
Individual counseling is provided in all programs. WRA’s psychotherapy program provides women and families with individual counseling to address a variety of issues. These may include: relationships, stressors related to family, sexual and physical abuse, PTSD, mental health issues, eating disorders, domestic violence, social issues, occupational issues, co-dependency, trauma and depression.
Aftercare/Relapse Prevention
You can get continued support if you have completed treatment at WRA and other programs. Learn to prevent relapse and get advanced skills for maintaining sobriety.
