The mission of the Women’s Recovery Association is to assist women, girls, and their families in recovering from chemical dependency and its secondary effects. WRA treats the whole woman and facilitates healing with dignity and respect.
Programs Provided on a Sliding Scale
Your donation makes a big difference for those building new lives of sobriety, self-sufficiency, and community service. Your contribution is an investment in the emotional and physical health of women, children and families who have suffered as a result of chemical addiction.

A Vital Part of the Social Safety Net in San Mateo County
WRA is supported, in part, through funding from the County of San Mateo as well as private foundations, corporations, and individuals. WRA relies on support from the community so that it may continue to help those seeking recovery from substance abuse.
