Attend an Orientation
WRA provides pre-treatment services to assess, support and assist a client in
entering treatment. The Orientation Group provides information
and orientation about WRA programs, services and general philosophy. A brief
individual assessment is completed for each client at this time.
After attending one Orientation
Group, the client is encouraged to attend the Treatment Readiness
Group. The purpose is to provide support and education to the client
(who may be using her drug of choice) while she awaits a bed in the residential
program. Treatment Readiness Group participation helps with extended
assessment, engagement, support and motivation for the client regarding treatment.
This component offers a harm reduction treatment model.
Please note: you
must attend an Orientation Group before coming to a Treatment Readines
Group.
